organization, job title, responsibilities certificates sailors

Sailors, Remembering childhood dream job so were spoken from my lips I want to be a cop, I want to be a soldier, I want to be a doctor I want to be an engineer no one ever came out I wanted to be a SAILOR while being a bad sailor could know the way way around the world for free and pay again it let's us know what sailors are seafarers who work on ships,

Organization system onboard deck was divided into the Department and the Department of Engineering

Deck Department

  1. Captain / Master is the leader / representative of the company and   responsible for voyage
  2.  First Deck Officer / Chief Officer / Chief Mate in charge of regulating the charge, fresh water supplies and as a regulator of direction navigation
  3. Mualim 2/Second Officer / Second Mate in charge of making the path / route map of voyage that will be done and the direction of the navigation controller.
  4. Mualim 3/Third Officer / Third Mate on duty as a regulator, inspect, maintain all equipment and safety gear ships also served as a regulator of the navigation direction.
  5. Wireless operator / Radio Officer / Spark served as a radio operator / communications and is responsible for maintaining the safety of the ship in distress that it caused both of nature such as hurricanes, there are sunken ships, etc.
For the post of wireless operator is now on hold lasung by the ship's officers had a double license. (GMDSS Certificate + ORU) outlined wireless operator position no longer exists for merchant ships but there are still some boats that are still existing wireless operator.

Department of Engineering:
Chief Engineer, leadership and responsibility for all machines on board both main engine, auxiliary engines, pumps, engine crane, boat engines, steering engines, machine freezer, etc

  1.  1/First Engineer engineer responsible for main engine
  2.  2/Second Engineer engineer responsible for all auxiliary engines.
  3.  3/Third engineer Engineer is responsible for all engine pumps.
  4.  Interpreter Electrical / Electrician is responsible for all machines that use electricity and all backup power.
  5.  Interpreter oil / Oiler maid the Machinist / Engineer
 Part steward:
  1.  The cook / cook responsible for any food, be it cooking, food menu settings, and food  supplies
  2.  Mess boy / helper function to assist the cook
Ratings or subordinate
The deck:

  1.  Boatswain or Bosun or Attack (Head of subordinates)
  2.  Able-bodied Seaman (AB) or helmsman
  3.  Ordinary Seaman (OS) or a sailor or a Sailor
  4.  Pumpman or Savior pumps, specialized tankers (ships transporting liquids)
 The machine:
  1.  Foreman (Head Work and Oiler Wiper)
  2.  Fitter or Savior weldding
  3.  Oiler or Oil Savior
  4.  Wiper
Certificate for seafarers (officers) in Indonesia is divided into degrees and diplomas deck machinery.
The deck of the highest diploma are:
  1.  Nautical Expert Level I (ANT I); first cruise Big I (PB I), skipper of the vessel can be served with unlimited weight and groove cruise ship
  2.  Nautical Expert Level II (ANT II), first cruise Major II (PB II), can be served: First Deck Officer / Chief Officer unlimited weight and cruise ships; Skipper / Master on vessels less than 5000 tons with unlimited cruise captain / master vessels less than 7500 tons of the beach area and I have experience as a chief officer for 2 years
  3.  Nautical Expert Level III (ANT III); first cruise Major III (PC III), can be served: First Deck Officer / Chief Officer DWT max 3000 Nautical Expert Level IV (ANT IV), first Mualim Shipping Intersuler (MPI): Officers ships ship between islands

  4. Nautical Expert Level V (ANT V); first Mualim Shipping Limited (MPT): Officers small boats between islands
  5.  Expert Nautical Basic (ANT D)
 Engineering diploma from the highest are:
  1. Technical Expert Level I (ATT I); once Experts Boat Engines C (MCA C): Chief Engineer / Chief Engineer unlimited ship
  2. Engineer Level II (ATT II), first Expert Ship Engineering B (MCA B), can be served: Machinist I / Second Engineer of the vessel unlimited Chief Engineer / Chief Engineer with the engine power of less than 3000 KW, unlimited cruise Head Room Engineering / Chief Engineer with unlimited engine power, cruise the coast
  3. Level III Engineer (ATT III); once Experts Boat engine A (MCA A), can be served: Keep Officers (infinite) Machinist I / Second Engineer with engine power less than 3000 KW, cruise unlimited Chief Engineer / Chief Engineer with the engine power of less than 3000 KW coastal areas have 2 years experience as a Machinist I
  4. Level IV Engineer (ATT IV), first Cruise Ship Engine Experts Intersuler (AMKPI): Machinist inter-island vessels

 Certificates skills:
This skills certificate is a certificate that must be owned by seafarers alongside the formal certificate. Among them are:

  2.  Advanced Fire Fighting (AFF)
  3.  Survival Craft and Rescue Boats (SCRB)
  4.  Medical First Aid (MFA)
  5.  Medical Care (MC)
  6.  Tanker Familiarization (TF)
  7.  Oil Tanker Training (OT)
  8.  Chemical Tanker Training (CTT)
  9.  Liquefied Gas Tanker Training (LGT)
  10.  Radar Simulator (RS)
  11.  ARPA Simulator (USA
  12.  Public Radio Operator (ORU) / GMDSS
Sertificate above skills can be through coursework in education or training agencies in the country academies academy that have such programs, there are also private individual parties to an open short course program and is recognized by the international community.
